Key Responsibilities

• Serve as a primary point of contact for individuals calling or visiting Generations Ashe.

• Answer questions, assist with client intake, and connect individuals with appropriate programs and community resources.

• Help implement and coordinate programmatic strategic plans , including timelines, action items, follow-up, and progress tracking.

• Work with program staff and leadership to move new initiatives and programs from planning to implementation.

• Manage Generations Ashe's social media pages, including creating, scheduling, and publishing engaging content.

• Develop promotional materials, newsletters, flyers, website content, and other communications.

• Help promote programs, services, events, and fundraising initiatives.

• Build relationships with community organizations, businesses, and other community partners.

• Represent Generations Ashe at community events and outreach opportunities.

• Assist with planning and coordination of programs, events, and special projects.

• Maintain appropriate documentation and provide updates to leadership on assigned initiatives.

Qualifications

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Strong organizational and project-management skills.

• Experience with social media and digital content creation.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

• Strong interpersonal skills and a genuine desire to help people.

• Experience in nonprofit, community outreach, communications, program coordination, or a related field preferred.

• Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent education and experience may be considered.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and common social media platforms.

• Ability to work independently while collaborating with a small administrative and program team.

• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation may be required for community events and outreach.
