Enjoyed in homes, schools, restaurants and just about everywhere people shop and eat, our products reflect a commitment to quality, innovation and the power of food to bring people together.We are hiring a Production Supervisor - 2nd shift to lead our manufacturing associates at our frozen pizza plant in Northeast, PA.What you will do:Directs production, packaging, and bakery on production lines to ensure company and USDA requirements are metBeing responsible for interviewing and hiring qualified employees, following EEO and Affirmative Action guidelinesManages employee performance and skills development conducts performance appraisals and administers disciplinary action, including employment terminations when necessaryResponsible for safety, housekeeping, policy administration, employee relations, cost control, and problem-solvingAdjust daily work schedule as needed to meet production requirements.Works closely with USDA representative on site to ensure all company, state, and federal requirements for food safety are metReviews and signs off on all Quality Assurance and HACCP documentationChecks product quality, usage, waste, product counts, and weights to assure performance and attainmentWhat we look for:Education: High School diploma required. Bachelor's degree preferredMinimum of 4 years related work experience preferably in food industry manufacturing or equivalent combination of education and experience, with minimum of 2 years in supervisionIntermediate personal computer skills including Microsoft OfficeSAP experience beneficialIntermediate knowledge of robotics used in productionAbility to effectively supervise line employeesStrong communication and reasoning skills to provide a positive work environmentAbility to read and interpret documents such as safety rules operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals and ability to write routine reports and correspondenceKnowledge of USDA, FDA, and BRC regulations preferredWhat We Offer:The base salary range for this position is $58,500 to $97,500 annually, with eligibility for a 10% annual incentive bonus based on organizational performance.
