(USA) Member Specialist

What You’ll Do Provides member service. Maintains the checkout area. Resolves member issues and concerns. Promotes Sam’s Club products and services. Provides guidance and support to members regarding self‑service technology. Processes member purchases. Assists with payments, returns, refunds, and exchanges according to company policies for different membership and payment types. Follows company safety standards, procedures, and guidelines, including conducting safety sweeps. Follows proper procedures for handling merchandise. Corrects and reports unsafe situations to facility management. Maintains entrance areas and assists members with purchasing decisions. Locates merchandise, promotes the company’s products and services, zones the area, arranges and organizes merchandise, assists members with transporting items, and maintains a safe shopping environment. Maintains exit areas, reviews member receipts, acknowledges the member and identifies member needs, and ensures compliance with security and safety practices. Assists with the training of Member Frontline Services associates, teaches new technology, and delivers new program rollout training. Ensures area of responsibility is maintained in accordance with company policies by handling returns, arranging merchandise, and identifying shrink and damages. Complies with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity, implementing related action plans and applying these to business processes and practices. Completes work assignments and priorities by using policies, data, resources, collaborating with managers, co‑workers, customers, and other business partners. The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.
