Program Director, Ehr ImplementationWe are seeking an experienced and strategic Program Director, Ehr Implementation to lead a complex and high-profile healthcare transformation initiative. This role will oversee the deployment of a unified enterprise Ehr across a large provincial healthcare environment operating on a single shared instance.The Program Director will serve as the executive leader responsible for end-to-end deployment governance, coordination of multiple implementation teams and subcontractors, customer executive engagement, operational readiness, and measurable program outcomes. The ideal candidate combines large-scale healthcare It deployment expertise with exceptional leadership, communication, and change management skills in both English and French Canadian.This role requires a leader who can balance strategic oversight with operational execution while ensuring evidence-based best practice workflows, adoption, quality, compliance, and stakeholder alignment across a highly matrixed environment.This is a transformational leadership opportunity to help shape the future of healthcare delivery through one of the most significant enterprise Ehr initiatives in the industry. The Program Director will play a critical role in enabling operational transformation, improving caregiver experience, and supporting better patient outcomes at scale.Executive Program LeadershipProvide executive oversight for a multi-year enterprise Ehr deployment programServe as the primary escalation point for program risks, dependencies, and executive decision-makingEstablish and maintain trusted relationships with senior healthcare executives, operational leaders, clinical leadership, vendor partners, and subcontractorsLead executive steering committee meetings, governance forums, and operational review sessionsPresent program status, risks, milestones, financials, and readiness metrics to executive leadership and customer governance bodies.Program & Deployment GovernanceDirect integrated program governance across internal teams, customer organizations, subcontractors, and third-party partnersEnsure alignment to contractual commitments, implementation methodology, and deployment standardsOversee enterprise project planning, milestone management, dependency tracking, and risk mitigationEnsure consistent program controls including:Scope managementChange controlFinancial oversightIssue escalationResource planningCompliance reportingDrive accountability across all participating organizations.Workflow & Operational TransformationChampion evidence-based and standardized best practice workflows across clinical, financial, and operational domains.Partner with healthcare executives and operational leaders to align future-state workflows with strategic objectivesEnsure implementation decisions prioritize:Patient safetyClinical efficiencyRegulatory complianceProvider experienceLong-term sustainabilityLead discussions balancing enterprise standardization with regional or local operational needs.Team Leadership & Partner CoordinationLead large cross-functional deployment teams including:Project managersClinical consultantsTechnical teamsIntegration resourcesTraining and change management teamsThird-party consulting organizationsCoordinate activities across the prime vendor and multiple subcontractors to ensure unified executionFoster a collaborative, accountable, and outcomes-focused cultureMentor and develop program and project leadership resources.Readiness, Adoption & OutcomesEstablish measurable program Kpis and readiness criteria across all implementation phasesMonitor and report on deployment outcomes including:Project milestone attainmentEnd-user readinessWorkflow adoptionTraining completionRisk trendsStabilization performanceCustomer satisfactionEnsure structured go-live readiness reviews and post-implementation stabilization governanceDrive continuous improvement across deployment methodologies and operational processes.Compliance & Quality OversightEnsure adherence to healthcare regulatory, privacy, security, and documentation standardsMaintain program compliance with contractual obligations and organizational governance requirementsEnsure quality assurance processes are integrated throughout all phases of deploymentSupport audit readiness and executive reporting requirements.RequirementsRequired QualificationsBachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Information Systems, Business, Nursing, or related field5+ years of progressive leadership experience managing large-scale healthcare It or Ehr implementationsProven experience directing enterprise or multi-organization Ehr deployment programsDemonstrated success managing complex vendor and subcontractor relationshipsExecutive-level presentation and facilitation experienceStrong knowledge of healthcare operations, clinical workflows, and healthcare transformation initiativesExperience leading governance and steering committee structuresExceptional organizational, communication, negotiation, and leadership skillsFluency in both English and French Canadian (written and verbal) is requiredAbility to travel extensively as required by the program.Preferred QualificationsExperience deploying enterprise Ehr solutions within large public healthcare systemsKnowledge of integrated care delivery models and enterprise workflow standardization strategiesFamiliarity with evidence-based content governance and change management methodologiesPmp, Pgmp,
