These functions are performed in accordance with the hospital's philosophy, policies and standards.**JOB DETAILS AND REQUIREMENTS**Type: Full Time (80 hours per 2 week pay period, with benefits)Typical Hours: Day ShiftEducation: - Graduate of an accredited school of nursing- required - Masters of Science Degree in Nursing- preferred Certification & Licensures: - Licensed to practice in the State of Missouri- required - CLC (certified lactation consultant)- required - BLS Certification- required - Certified as a Lactation Consultant (IBCLC)- required within one (1) year of hire Experience: - Previous experience in maternal-child health nursing- required- Five years of experience in lactation consulting- preferred**ADDITIONAL INFORMATION****Why Work at Saint Francis?**Saint Francis Healthcare System began in 1875 when three courageous Franciscan Sisters answered a call to care for those in need.
