Collections Representative

Job Title Experienced Debt Collector – Class starting July 6th, 2026 Location Phoenix, AZ (On‑Site) Schedule Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM (No nights, no weekends) Compensation & Benefits Base pay $20.00 – $40.00 per hour plus uncapped commission and eligible monthly bonuses. Full‑time position with benefits eligibility. Medical, dental, vision coverage 401(k) with matching Paid time off, paid training, paid sick time AD&D, disability, life insurance Employee assistance program, referral program, opportunities for advancement Paid lunch break (1 hour unpaid) and two 15‑minute paid breaks Responsibilities Managing and recovering delinquent accounts within the multifamily housing sector Negotiating payment arrangements and settlements Maintaining strict compliance with FDCPA and company policies Meeting and exceeding monthly performance goals Documenting account activity accurately and thoroughly Leveraging technology to maximize account resolution Qualifications Minimum 1 year of debt collection experience (required) Strong negotiation and objection‑handling skills Proven track record of meeting or exceeding collection goals Professional phone presence and strong communication skills Understanding of accounts receivable and financial concepts Comfortable working in a structured, in‑office environment Ability to multitask while maintaining compliance and accuracy High School Diploma or equivalent 1–2 years of prior experience with multifamily residential properties Typing speed of 40 words per minute Reliable transportation Customer service skills Computer knowledge (MS Office, Yardi software) Knowledge of Fair Housing rules and regulations Work Environment & Requirements In‑office position in Phoenix, AZ 85053 Monday‑Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM (5 days a week) Desk‑bound work using phone and computer systems for 6+ hours a day Physical demands: sitting for long periods, repetitive hand and wrist movement Physical Demands Sitting for long periods using a computer and telephone systems, up to 4–8 hours a day, 5 days a week.
