Contract | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts | 13 Weeks

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to acutely ill adult and pediatric patients presenting with a wide variety of medical conditions and diagnoses
• Maintain a 2:1 patient-to-nurse ratio in the ICU setting
• Administer and manage medications using an automated dispensing system (Pyxis)
• Document all patient care accurately and thoroughly within Cerner EMR
• Adhere to all infection control protocols, including wearing a mask at all times while in the ICU
• Wear required navy blue scrubs per unit dress code policy

Required Qualifications

• Active single-state Oklahoma RN license or valid Compact nursing license
• Minimum of 3 years of ICU nursing experience
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications — all must be American Heart Association (AHA) issued
• NIHSS certification required
• Pediatric nursing experience required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a combined adult and pediatric ICU environment
• Familiarity with step-down unit (SDU) workflows and a 3:1 patient ratio setting
