Job Duties Perform deburring operations using hand tools, power tools, sanding equipment, and tumble deburring machines. Set up and operate deburring equipment according to work instructions and specifications. Load and unload parts, deburring media, cleaners, and drying materials. Read job orders and tooling instructions to determine required deburring processes. Inspect finished parts visually and by touch to ensure quality and conformance to specifications. Notify leads, supervisors, or quality personnel when corrective action is needed. Follow all company safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment. Maintain production flow and meet established performance goals in a fast-paced environment. Cross-train in other departments and assist with additional production tasks as needed. Perform other duties assigned by the Area Lead, Shop Manager, or management team. Education Requirements High school diploma or GED preferred unless otherwise specified. Additional education, certifications, or vocational training may be beneficial depending on the position. Experience Requirements Previous manufacturing, production, deburring, sanding, polishing, or machine operation experience preferred. Ability to read and follow job orders, work instructions, and production specifications. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards. Experience using hand tools, power tools, and measuring or inspection techniques is a plus. Ability to work in a fast-paced job shop manufacturing environment. Willingness to cross-train and support multiple production departments. Physical Capabilities Ability to stand and work for an entire 8-hour shift or longer as needed. Frequent use of hands for sanding, deburring, handling parts, and operating tools. Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull materials throughout the workday. Must be able to perform repetitive tasks while maintaining quality and production standards. Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment and wearing required PPE, including safety glasses and gloves.
