Biweekly Mon‑Fri – 7:30 am – 4 pm The John R. Marsh Cancer Center is seeking a compassionate and highly skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Radiation Therapy team. This role provides professional nursing care and support to oncology patients undergoing radiation treatment, ensuring a patient‑centered experience focused on safety, education, and compassionate care delivery. The Radiation Therapy RN collaborates closely with radiation oncologists, physicists, therapists, advanced practice providers, and multidisciplinary oncology teams to coordinate and manage patient care throughout the treatment continuum. Responsibilities include patient assessment, symptom management, patient and family education, care coordination, triage, and clinical support for patients receiving radiation oncology services. Minimum Qualifications Education: ASN required; BSN preferred. Experience: Minimum of one year of experience in a hospital setting required. Previous oncology experience preferred. Licensure/Certification: Current license to practice as Registered Nurse in Maryland, or from a compact state that is designated as "Compact" or "Multi‑State Privilege," with primary source verification. Specialty certification recognized by the Magnet Recognition Program preferred. Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Ability to apply standards of professional nursing practice with compassion and empathy; basic computer skills; high level of organization and communication skills.
