Schedule:

Day Coverage: 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM
Evening Call: 4:00 PM - 8:00 AM
Weekend Coverage: 24-hour call
Dates: Dec 24 (8 AM) - Jan 3 (8 AM) + ongoing dates available

Required Procedures:

Diagnostic Vascular Intervention
- Angiography (venous & arterial)
Therapeutic Vascular Intervention
- Angioplasty (venous & arterial)
- Stenting (venous & arterial)
- Thrombolytic therapy
- Embolization therapy
General Interventional (non-neuro):
- Vascular access devices / PICCs
- Central lines
- Port-a-cath insertions
- IVC Filters
- TIPS
- Aspiration / drainage procedures
- Percutaneous needle biopsies (above & below diaphragm, bone)
- Extractions (biliary & renal)
- Abscess drainage
- Thoracentesis / Paracentesis
- Myelography
- Pain management procedures
- Perc. Transhepatic Cholangiogram
- Blood patch
- Joint / epidural injections
- Vertebroplasty
- Arthrograms
- Chest tube insertion
- Uterine artery embolization
- Liver Y90 / TACE
- Gastrostomy tube insertion
- Nephrostomy / ureteral stent insertion
- Renal fistulograms
- Cryoablation

Preferred but not required: Neuro (stroke thrombectomy)

EMR: Epic
Practice Details:

Setting: Hospital-based, Inpatient IR
Average Procedures per Day: 10-15
Call Backs: Varies; usually emergencies only
Reading Diagnostics Between Cases: Not required

Requirements:

Board Certification - Required
State License - ND license preferred (IMLC accepted)
Residency / Fellowship - Required
Certifications - ACLS, BLS
Malpractice - Clean preferred
Experience - Must have strong IR general experience with all required procedures

Credentialing:

Timeline - 60-90 days
Temporary Privileges - No (standard process required)
Billing Enrollment - Required
Credentialing with Other Facilities - No
