About the Position

Job Title: ER Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Emergency Services Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a high-volume emergency department License: Active Nursing License Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, TNCC Must-Have: - Experience seeing at least 100 patients a day - Experience with 4:1 patient ratios - Ability to float within scope of practice - Not required to be on-call Description: We are seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse. This position is for the night shift, working 3 twelve-hour shifts per week. Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in a fast-paced emergency department. The ideal candidate will have experience managing high patient volumes and maintaining appropriate patient ratios. First-time travelers are welcome to apply. No on-call duties are required. Weekend shifts will be required. Candidates must hold certifications in ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, and TNCC. Local candidates residing within a 50-mile radius are not eligible for this travel contract. All requested time off must be included in the application submission. The unit serves a diverse patient population, including neonates, adolescents, adults, geriatrics, and pediatrics. The emergency department sees an average of 95 patients each day. It is critical to have experience with various emergency procedures and patient care techniques. Previous charge experience is preferred. Knowledge of the Epic charting system is an advantage. References covering 1 year of experience in nursing are required prior to starting the position. Modules for training and compliance are expected to be completed prior to the start date.
