About the Position

Job Title: Emergency Room Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night 4x12-Hour Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in an Emergency Room setting. License: Current and valid Nursing License required. Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, TNCC required. Must-Have: - Experience seeing at least 100 patients a day. - Familiarity with 4:1 patient ratios. Description: We are seeking a qualified Emergency Room Registered Nurse to join our team. The position requires a night shift of 4x12 hours. Candidates should have a minimum of 2 years of experience in a fast-paced Emergency Room environment. The nurse will provide care to a diverse patient population including neonates, infants, adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics. Experience with BiPAP/CPAP management, blood product administration, and central line care is preferred. The nurse will be expected to manage ventilated patients and administer procedural sedation. Strong skills in starting and maintaining IVs, triage, and isolation precautions are essential. The nurse will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to provide comprehensive patient care. Weekend and holiday shifts may be required as part of the role. Candidates must be able to float within their scope to meet facility needs. All requests for time off must be included upon application. References will be required to demonstrate relevant experience.
