About the Role
The Company is seeking a Managing Attorney to oversee the operations of its law firm, which has a strong focus on both business and personal legal services. The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the firm, including technological needs, office policies, and standard operating procedures. Financial management is a key aspect of the role, involving budgeting, financial reporting, and ensuring billing accuracy. The Managing Attorney will also lead a team of legal staff, balancing and assigning caseloads, and will be the primary point of contact for client relationship management, ensuring high-quality service and addressing any concerns. Applicants must have a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree, be admitted to the PA State Bar, and have a minimum of 10 years' of experience as an attorney. A strong background in estate and tax planning, business law, elder law, and real estate is essential, as is a proven track record in client service and best practices. The role requires excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills, as well as the ability to manage a high-paced environment and adhere to strict deadlines. Experience in CRM software, particularly Clio, and a background in business development and marketing within legal services are preferred. The ideal candidate will also have a strong understanding of compliance, risk management, and strategic planning for growth.
