Production Assembly Technician - Electrical

Job Overview We are looking for an Assembly Technician to support the manufacturing of Enchanted Rock generators, performing mechanical and electrical assembly, maintenance, and troubleshooting. Responsibilities Perform skilled assembly of Enchanted Rock’s generator sets. Utilize a variety of hand, mechanical, pneumatic, and electrical tools. Conduct periodic inspections to identify manufacturing needs. Use manufacturer‑specific software to troubleshoot and diagnose engine and control system problems. Follow written instructions from work orders, engineered drawings, or customer specifications. Perform scheduled preventive or predictive generator maintenance tasks. Perform troubleshooting and repair tasks. Work in potentially confined areas as required. Follow company processes and procedures for verbal and written communications. Ensure safe operation of electrical equipment by enforcing company and industry standards. Familiarize with or learn current technology for communication, documentation, and research used by Enchanted Rock. Qualifications Minimum 5 years of experience as an engine or electrical technician. Mechanical and electrical assembly experience and/or ASE certification. Experience with computer‑aided emissions testing programs. Ability to troubleshoot and repair portable emissions analyzers quickly. Ability to troubleshoot emissions‑related issues on internal combustion engines. Knowledge of TCEQ Chapter 117 regulations. Ability to interpret blueprints, diagrams, engineered drawings, and specifications. Proficiency in using measuring devices such as micrometers, calipers, pressure gauges, torque wrenches, and electric meters. Attention to detail and thorough workmanship. Ability to identify production issues, troubleshoot, and make corrections or repairs to parts as needed. Ability to follow safety procedures and guidelines. Ability to stand for multiple hours daily, lift up to 50 lbs occasionally, and reach or extend arms in all directions. Integrity and ability to work efficiently with or without supervision.
