Prototype Assembler Level 3
Our client, a Manufacturing Conglomerate company, is looking for a Prototype Assembler Level 3 for their Houston, TX location.
Responsibilities:
- Reads work orders, follows production drawings and sample assemblies or receives verbal instructions regarding duties to be performed.
- Lays out diagram for electrical installations according to wiring specifications.
- Drills and taps holes in specified locations for mounting control units.
- Attaches breakers, relays, contactors, bus bars, transformers, plugging devices, fuse blocks and others to mounting holes with bolts and screws.
- Cuts, strips, bends, and mounts wires to connect electrical units.
- Inspects and tests completed electrical assemblies as required.
- Boxes or bags products as required.
- Affixes labels to product.
- Insures completeness of paperwork.
- Forwards completed orders to shipping department.
- Discusses errors in diagrams or production order with supervisor or engineer to clarify assembly issues
- Other duties as assigned by the Production Manager
Requirements:
- Client will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening.
- Typically requires a minimum of 2 years of related experience. Has substantial understanding of the job and applies knowledge and skills to complete a wide range of tasks.
