As a Application Architect (Java/j2EE) DE, you will be part of the Technology and Innovation Department supporting the Application Development and Architecture teams. Job Title Application Architect (Java/j2EE) DE Location Newark, DE Responsibilities Design, guide, and oversee the architecture of critical enterprise applications Partner with business stakeholders, engineering teams, and technical leads to deliver scalable and secure solutions Lead technical design decisions that align with enterprise standards and strategies Support cloud-native applications and modern development practices Perform architectural reviews, analyze technical debt, and evaluate solution alternatives Qualifications 10+ years in software development and application design 5+ years acting as an Application Architect, Technical Lead, or similar role Hands‑on experience with Java/J2EE, Spring/Spring Boot, and enterprise application frameworks Experience designing multi‑tier and microservices‑based architectures Strong understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and integration patterns What's in it for me?
