In this role, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining die-cutting machinery to produce high-quality finished products according to client specifications. The ideal candidate has strong mechanical aptitude, values workplace safety, and possesses a sharp eye for quality control.Shift: Monday - Friday, 6:00am -2:30pm with overtime as neededHourly Pay Rate: $20 - $25/hour depending on experienceWhat You'll Do...Machine Setup: Select, install, and align correct dies, cutting sequences, and tooling configurations for each unique production run.Equipment Operation: Safely operate and monitor small and large format die cutting equipment. (BOBST, YOUNGH SHIN, CREST)Material Management: Load raw paper, cardboard, plastics, or other substrates securely into the machine feeders.Quality Control: Conduct regular visual checks during production to detect and resolve defects like uneven edges, misalignments, or improper creasing.Troubleshooting: Diagnose mechanical issues and perform basic, routine maintenance to ensure minimal machine downtime.Documentation: Review job tickets, mylars and work orders to verify quantities and technical specifications.Safety & Cleanliness: Follow all facility safety rules and maintain an organized workspace.
