Registered Nurse – Operating Room (Circulator)

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the circulating nurse during a full spectrum of surgical procedures including general elective and critical or life-saving surgeries
• Monitor the surgical procedure and patient health and safety throughout the entire operation
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and OR technicians to support optimal patient outcomes
• Assist with orthopedic procedures including hip, joint, and knee surgeries
• Support more than 8,000 surgical and endoscopy procedures performed annually within the department

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of RN experience in the Operating Room
• Experience with hip, joint, and knee surgical procedures
• Active Michigan Registered Nurse license
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience
• Familiarity with advanced surgical techniques and tools across multiple specialties
