We are looking for a customer-focused Bartender to join our team! You will be preparing custom craft alcoholic drinks and food for customers while creating a friendly and hospitable atmosphere. You are knowledgeable, passionate about food, beer, wine, cocktails, and customer service. Organized, calm, and friendly, you make a point to go above and beyond to make sure customers have exceptional experiences.

Responsibilities:

• Greet all customers with a friendly smile; provide friendly, efficient, and personal service to each customer
• Take food and drink orders; understand the food and beverage menu in order to provide the best possible description and execution of menu items to your guests
• Demonstrate an in-depth understanding of the beverage preparation process, including specialty drinks, beer, and wine knowledge.
• Accurately and efficiently enter orders into POS system
• Clear and reset counters and tables at the conclusion of each guest visit
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas throughout the day, practicing clean-as-you-go procedures

Qualifications:

• Previous knowledge of food service regulations preferred
• ServSafe or Food Handler's Certification, or willing to obtain
• TABC Certification
• Strong customer service and interpersonal communications skills
• Able to stand for long periods of time
• Able to utilize quick thinking and apply quick resolution to guest issues in accordance with the brand standards
• Excellent conflict resolution skills
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment

Compensation: $4.00 Plus Tips

Located in the heart of one of the most valuable and recognizable modern-day developments in the U.S. called "Pearl", based on its late-1800's start as a beer production facility and now the jewel of the food scene in San Antonio, Southerleigh Fine Food & Brewery, quickly became the recipe of success preparing smart exceptional comfort food and sought-after hand-crafted beers. As the cornerstone successful restaurant and brewery of the 18-acre property, local and national visitors alike were elated that once again, beer was flowing from the taps and the livelihood of the Southerleigh atmosphere was in full swing.

Brasserie Mon Chou Chou:

In November 2020, Southerleigh Hospitality Group is launching a new restaurant, Brasserie Mon Chou Chou that will feature quintessential French comfort food that showcases simple, earthy, flavorful dishes from regions throughout France. As opposed to upscale French restaurants, brasseries are more informal, serving full dinner options but also allowing for a more casual atmosphere of just wine, oysters, cheese plates and more. The menu at Mon Chou Chou will feature classic, but accessible, French comfort foods that will appeal to a range of guests.
