Maintenance Mechanic
Advance Services Inc
We are seeking a dependable Maintenance Mechanic for 2nd or 3rd shift to perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot equipment issues, and support the safe and efficient operation of production and facility equipment for one of our clients.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on production equipment and facility systems.
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues.
- Respond to equipment breakdowns and minimize downtime.
- Assist with equipment installations, setups, and changeovers.
- Maintain maintenance records and work orders.
- Follow all safety procedures, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO).
- Support continuous improvement and facility maintenance initiatives.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 2+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment preferred.
- Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills.
- Basic knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
- Ability to read technical manuals and schematics.
- Welding and fabrication experience is a plus.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to stand, walk, and work in an industrial environment for extended periods.
