Job Summary We are seeking a friendly and compassionate Infectious Disease Nurse Practitioner/ Physician Assistant to join our team. As an Infectious Disease Nurse Practitioner/ Physician Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing comprehensive care to patients with infectious diseases. Responsibilities Conducting physical examinations Inform patients about their health conditions Propose treatment plans for chronic and acute infectious disease conditions Prescribe antibiotics and propose treatment plans Collaborating with a team of medical professionals Requirements Minimum 6 months of experience in long-term care or a skilled nursing facility Active and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant, or Physician license DEA License CPR BCLS/BLS certified Must hold a Master's Degree in Nursing Completed a degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program A year of experience in Infectious Disease Preferred experience in Documenting EMR (Sigma, Visual, PCC, etc.): training provided Must have great organizational and time management skills. Prolonged standing and walking on facility floors. Carrying a medical bag, laptop, tablet or diagnostic equipment. Bending, stooping, or assisting with positioning during exams. Navigating multi-level buildings, potentially with stairs or uneven surfaces. Lifting/moving patients.
