Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in special education or a related field
• Current, valid licensure in special education in Michigan
• Experience and enthusiasm for working with middle and high school students
• Commitment to differentiated instruction and collaborative teamwork

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) tailored to each student’s needs
• Utilize evidence-based strategies to support academic, behavioral, and social-emotional growth
• Collaborate with fellow educators, support staff, and families to create a positive, inclusive environment
• Track student progress, maintain required documentation, and participate in IEP meetings
• Provide direct instruction within a center-based setting, promoting independence and skill development
