Conrad Yelvington Distributors, a CRH company, supplies and distributes aggregate materials such as granite, river gravel, limestone, natural sand, and more. This rail served aggregate distribution network covers Florida, Southern Mississippi, South Carolina, and Alabama. Primary responsibility of the Scalehouse Clerk position is to coordinate, expedite, and track orders for the sales and accounting departments; record the weight and measurement of various transportation vehicles and materials; tracks yard inventory levels and prepares reports for the company's Inventory Control Department.

Job requirements include the following:

• Ensuring Health & Safety standards are met by complying with legislation, company policies and promoting a safe work environment
• Previous dispatching experience in building materials, construction or rail industry preferred
• Ability to operate general construction equipment at the terminal when given training
• Complete miscellaneous jobs according to instructions given
• Requires a high school degree/equivalent or a comparable amount of directly related experience
• Basic understanding of computer and other office equipment
• Microsoft Office suite of programs desired
• Good oral and written communications skills
• Bilingual is a plus!
