Location : Must reside in Massachusetts About the Position: This role will involve underwriting new and renewal Workers' Compensation insurance for middle market to large accounts across Massachusetts. You’ll be responsible for engaging with independent agents, analyzing new business opportunities, evaluating risk, and determining pricing and coverage terms. You will drive growth by leveraging professional relationships with agents and brokers, negotiating terms, and ensuring compliance with workers' compensation regulations. An Ideal Candidate Has: Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years in the Property & Casualty insurance industry Strong knowledge of Workers' Compensation underwriting Experience in agency and portfolio management Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills In-depth knowledge of the Massachusetts agent network Ability to travel within Massachusetts Results-driven with a strong sales orientation Entrepreneurial spirit with the ability to execute strategic plans Proven success in business development and managing profitable accounts Strong ability to articulate value propositions and build long-term relationships Why You Should Apply: Competitive salary and bonus structure.
