We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager to oversee maintenance and reliability across multiple bakery manufacturing facilities. This hands-on leadership role will focus on equipment uptime, maintenance team development, facility reliability, and continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities
We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager to oversee maintenance and reliability across multiple bakery manufacturing facilities. This hands-on leadership role will focus on equipment uptime, maintenance team development, facility reliability, and continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities
- Lead and develop maintenance teams across multiple facilities
- Build and manage preventive and predictive maintenance programs to improve equipment reliability and reduce downtime
- Oversee production equipment including sheeters, dividers, mixers, proofers, ovens, and conveyors
- Use CMMS, downtime, MTBF, MTTR, and OEE data to identify issues and improve reliability
- Lead Lean, 5S, Kaizen, and root cause analysis initiatives
- Partner with Production and Engineering to improve efficiency, quality, and equipment performance
- Oversee HVAC, refrigeration, compressed air, electrical, plumbing, and facility systems
- Manage vendors, contractors, equipment installations, and facility projects
- Lead capital projects, maintenance budgets, spare parts, and procurement
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, GMP, SQF, and food safety requirements
- Provide technical direction and mentorship to site maintenance leaders
- Standardize maintenance practices and share best practices across facilities
- 7+ years of progressive maintenance leadership experience , preferably in food or bakery manufacturing
- Multi-site maintenance leadership experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and refrigeration systems
- Experience with equipment reliability, preventive/predictive maintenance, and continuous improvement
- Proven ability to reduce downtime and improve equipment performance
- Proficiency with CMMS and maintenance data
- Strong leadership, communication, analytical, and project management skills
- Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent experience considered
- Lean, Six Sigma, CMRP, or PMP certification preferred
- Ability to travel between facilities
- Fast-paced food manufacturing environment
- Regular presence on the manufacturing floor and around operating equipment
