Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position at a Level-facility in Santa Monica, CA, requiring a minimum of 3 years of trauma and adult ED experience and a CA RN license.

Details

• Work in a 21-bed Emergency Department with an average daily census of 140 patients
• Adult and trauma emergency patient population
• Patient ratio of 1:4
• Night shift schedule, 3x12-hour shifts (19:00–07:30), with potential for some mid/day shifts based on staffing needs
• Shifts span various days of the week, including every other weekend
• Charting performed in Epic
• No floating outside of scope required
• No on-call responsibilities

Requirements

• Active CA RN license required (EMSA licensure not accepted)
• BSN required
• Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, and CPI
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a trauma and adult Emergency Department
• At least one prior travel assignment required

Additional Information

• Navy blue scrubs required
• First-time travelers may be considered on a case-by-case basis depending on ER nursing experience
