Maintenance Technician

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for the maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of injection molding machines and auxiliary equipment. This role ensures that all machinery operates efficiently, safely, and with minimal downtime to support production goals. RANGE OF RESPONSIBILITIES: Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on injection molding machines, molds, robots, and related equipment. Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and pneumatic systems. Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and production calls. Monitor machine performance and adjust or repair components as needed. Maintain detailed maintenance records and logs of repairs, inspections, and parts usage. Ensure all work complies with safety standards and company policies. Collaborate with engineering and production teams to improve machine reliability and efficiency. Order and manage spare parts inventory as needed. Assist with installation of new equipment or upgrades to existing machinery. Maintain auxiliary equipment such as dryers, loaders, hot runners, cooling towers and temperature control units. QUALIFICATIONS: High school diploma or GED required; technical or vocational training preferred. 3+ years of experience in injection molding maintenance or a similar industrial maintenance role. Strong knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems. Familiarity with injection molding machines (e.g., Engel, Arburg, Husky, etc.) is a plus. Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics. Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights or weekends, if needed. PHYSCIAL REQUIREMENTS: Ability to stand, bend, and kneel for extended periods.
