Registered Nurse - Operating Room

Job Summary:
Seeking an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse to provide specialized intraoperative patient care within a fast-paced surgical environment. The ideal candidate will have extensive circulating experience and a strong background in various surgical specialties.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and facilitate surgical procedures by preparing the operating room and ensuring all necessary supplies and equipment are available.
• Monitor patient status throughout surgery, responding promptly to any changes and providing appropriate interventions.
• Collaborate with surgical teams, including anesthesiologists and surgeons, to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes.
• Maintain sterile field and adhere to strict infection control protocols during all procedures.
• Document all aspects of patient care accurately in Meditech Expanse and other relevant records.
• Comply with facility policies, including dress code, schedule requests, and licensing requirements.

Qualifications:

• Possess a minimum of 3+ years current circulating OR experience.
• Demonstrate expertise in various surgical specialties, including Endoscopy, Orthopedics, Neuro, Urology, Vascular, and Bariatric Surgery.
• Hold an active Massachusetts RN license and American Heart Association BLS certification.
• Show proficiency with Meditech Expanse or similar electronic medical record systems.
• Own a personal vehicle for transportation to the facility.
