Acro Dance Instructor (Competitive & Recreational Programs)

We are seeking an enthusiastic, energetic, and passionate  Acro Dance Instructor to join our thriving competitive and recreational dance program. If you love working with dancers of all ages, inspiring confidence, and helping students safely develop strength, flexibility, and acrobatic skills, we'd love to meet you!

Our studio is committed to providing high-quality dance education in a positive, supportive environment where students are encouraged to grow both as dancers and as individuals.

Responsibilities

• Teach acro classes for recreational and competitive dancers of various ages and skill levels.
• Develop engaging lesson plans that promote safe and progressive skill development.
• Prepare competitive dancers for performances, recitals, and competitions.
• Foster a positive, encouraging classroom environment that emphasizes technique, discipline, and confidence.
• Collaborate with our faculty to support students' overall artistic growth.
• Communicate professionally with staff, students, and families.

Qualifications

• Experience teaching acro, gymnastics, tumbling, dance, cheer, or a related movement discipline.
• Strong understanding of proper progressions, conditioning, flexibility, and injury prevention.
• Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
• Passion for mentoring young dancers and creating an inclusive learning environment.
• Ability to work with both recreational and competitive students.

Acrobatic Arts or other acro certification is preferred, but not required. We are happy to invest in the right candidate by providing the opportunity to earn a nationally recognized acro certification through our studio.
