Its capabilities include data science, software development, network engineering, intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (ISR), and logistics.Job DescriptionSOSi is seeking a Vice President of Enterprise IT to join our team at SOSi's Reston, Virginia headquarters.SOSi is a defense services and product company. We deliver cleared mission services to U.S. national security customers, and we build and ship software products that operate in classified and unclassified environments around the world. That combination is rare, and it shapes how our internal technology has to work. The VP of Enterprise IT is the executive accountable for transforming it across identity, employee experience, automation, and the multi-cloud operating model.Reporting to the CTO, the VP owns the full enterprise technology estate: our commercial and Government Community Cloud High environments, a multi-cloud footprint across AWS, GCP, OCI, and Azure, identity, endpoints, collaboration, networking, end-user support, enterprise applications, and enterprise automation. The role is responsible for the consolidation and modernization that gets the seam between corporate and program environments clean, auditable, and easy to operate on both sides.We want a leader who has shipped on both sides of the line. Someone who has worked at the speed of a modern commercial software company and has also led regulated environments that meet CMMC, NIST, ITAR, ISO, and CMMI standards. The right candidate has built before, not only operated.What You Will OwnThe multi-year enterprise technology roadmap, aligned to corporate growth, M&A, and cleared program expansion.Consolidation and modernization of the tenant, identity, collaboration, and data handling architecture so employees move between unclassified and regulated work without friction.The multi-cloud footprint across AWS, GCP, OCI, and Azure, including landing zones, identity federation, networking, FinOps, and security baselines.The shared services and architectural standards that program-dedicated infrastructure consumes.End-to-end ownership of the external audit program across CMMI, ISO 9001, ISO 27001, CMMC, NIST 800-171, and ITAR, with continuous compliance tooling and automated evidence collection.The employee technology experience, set and measured against SLOs, NPS, and time-to-productive.Service desk, deskside, provisioning, and asset lifecycle operated as a product.Enterprise automation across RPA, workflow orchestration, and integration with ERP, HRIS, contracts, procurement, and payroll, measured in hours returned to the business.The Enterprise IT organization and P&L, including cloud FinOps, SaaS licensing, and vendor consolidation.Enterprise architecture, security, and resilience standards, including Zero Trust, incident response, and business continuity.QualificationsWhat You BringEligibility to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance. Active clearance strongly preferred.Fifteen-plus years of IT leadership, with at least five at the director level or above.Hands-on ownership of Microsoft 365 GCC-High alongside a commercial tenant, including the work of consolidating or rationalizing tenants.Familiarity with both Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace at enterprise scale, with a defensible point of view on long-term platform direction.Multi-cloud operational experience at scale across at least two of AWS, GCP, OCI, and Azure, including landing zones, identity federation, and FinOps.Experience governing the interface between enterprise systems and program-dedicated infrastructure.Ownership of external audit programs such as CMMI (DEV or SVC), ISO 9001, ISO 27001, CMMC, and NIST 800-171.A track record of building, not only operating: standing up a continuous compliance program, leading a major tenant or identity consolidation, or modernizing an enterprise service stack inside a regulated environment.Measurable advancement of internal IT on employee experience and service desk performance.Delivery of enterprise automation as production systems with real adoption.Strong command of modern identity, endpoint, collaboration, and cloud infrastructure, including Entra ID, Intune, Microsoft 365, and Zero Trust networking.Ownership of an enterprise IT budget at scale.Executive communication skills sufficient to represent Enterprise IT to the CEO, CFO, ELT, and the board.Proven ability to lead, hire, and develop senior IT leaders and technical teams.What Sets You ApartActive TS or TS/SCI clearance.Prior CIO, VP IT, or head-of-IT role at a modern defense technology/dual use company, cleared services firm, or national security software company.Hands-on depth in at least three of AWS, GCP, OCI, and Azure, including GovCloud, Assured Workloads, or equivalent.Fluency with Zscaler, Cloudflare, Mattermost, ServiceNowExperience operating continuous compliance tooling such as Drata, Vanta, or RegScale.Delivery experience with Power Automate, UiPath, or equivalent.ERP modernization experience, particularly NetSuite, Deltek Costpoint, or equivalent.CISSP, CISM, ITIL v4, or PMP, and experience leading or sponsoring a CMMI appraisal or ISO certification.A product mindset for internal IT and a bias to automate before hiring.Additional InformationWork EnvironmentWorking conditions are normal for an office environment.Expect non-traditional hours to support change windows, incidents, and executive events.
