Cardiac Cath Lab Registered NurseMinimum experience: 2 years; 1st timers not acceptedPatient population: Adults to geriatricsCertifications required: BLS, ACLS and RCIS, RCES or ARRTGeneral skills and work setting requirements: Patient diagnoses include - diagnostic cath, PCI, orbital atherectomy, IABP, Impella, device implants, no EP studies, no ablations; EKG settings and experience required, obtaining vitals, rhythm interpretation, sinus node rhythms required; pacemakers preferred; required experience with GE Discovery, IABP, ImpellaUnit systems: Epic (required), Pyxis, SBAR, Merge (preferred)Scrub color: provided by the facilityRTO: MAX 7 daysWeekends: Every other weekend unless otherwise specifiedFloating: Yes within department and facility, but always a possibility to float to sister campus – Piedmont Eastside SouthCall requirements: 10 call days/monthHolidays: If one major holiday falls in his/her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work it. If two major holidays fall in his/her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work both of the holidays. If three major holidays fall in his/her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work two of the holidays. Major holidays are listed below: Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving/Black Friday, Christmas Eve/Christmas Day, New Years Eve/New Years DayCompliance: Full compliance required to start on time; if not compliant in time the push back is 2 weeks due to bi-weekly orientation schedule. Clinical screens will be sent on case-by-case basis.
