\nWe are seeking seeking a skilled and patient-focused Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon to join our growing surgical practice. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated surgeon to provide comprehensive oral and maxillofacial care in a collaborative, patient-centered environment supported by experienced clinical and administrative teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong surgical expertise, excellent clinical judgment, and a commitment to delivering high-quality care while building lasting relationships with patients, referring dentists, and healthcare professionals.
\nKey responsibilities:

- \n
Perform comprehensive oral and maxillofacial examinations, evaluations, and treatment planning.
\n - \n
Diagnose and manage conditions affecting the mouth, jaws, face, head, and neck.
\n - \n
Perform surgical procedures, including:
\n
- \n
- \n
Dental and complex tooth extractions
\n - \n
Impacted tooth and wisdom tooth removal
\n - \n
Dental implant placement
\n - \n
Bone grafting and ridge augmentation
\n - \n
Oral pathology and biopsy procedures
\n - \n
Pre-prosthetic and reconstructive procedures
\n - \n
Management of facial trauma and maxillofacial injuries
\n

Administer and manage local anesthesia, IV sedation, and general anesthesia in accordance with applicable regulations and practice protocols.
\n - \n
Evaluate and manage surgical complications, infections, pain, and post-operative recovery.
\n
Qualifications:
\n- \n
- \n
DDS or DMD degree from an accredited dental school.
\n - \n
Completion of an accredited Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery residency program.
\n - \n
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.
\n - \n
Active North Carolina dental license or eligibility to obtain prior to employment.
\n - \n
Current DEA registration or eligibility to obtain.
\n - \n
Strong surgical, diagnostic, and clinical decision-making skills.
\n - \n
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
\n - \n
Commitment to ethical, compassionate, and patient-centered care.
\n
