Physical Therapist - Travel Contract

Looking for a change of scenery and a chance to help others? Join a travel Physical Therapist opportunity in West Haven, CT at an outpatient clinic where you will help patients recover from injuries and manage chronic conditions while experiencing life in a new location. This role will be the sole physical therapy provider in the clinic and will focus on general outpatient caseloads including adolescents through geriatrics, sports injuries, post-operative care, and some neuro. Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
• Active Connecticut Physical Therapy license required to start the assignment.
• Outpatient physical therapy experience is required. Candidates without outpatient experience will be considered only if they can demonstrate confidence and competence in outpatient practice.
• BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
• Experience with WebPT EMR preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience treating sports-related injuries and post-operative orthopedics.
• Comfort functioning as the sole PT in a multidisciplinary clinic.
• Experience working with a wide age range from adolescents to geriatrics.

Assignment Details

• Typical schedule is Monday through Friday with potential for 4x10s.
• Clinic is multidisciplinary with PT-focused services alongside chiropractic and acupuncture providers.
• EMR system: WebPT.
• Interviews will most likely be virtual.
