Territory Manager - North Jersey

Becton Dickinson seeks a Territory Manager for North Jersey to drive sales growth of medical technology products within an assigned territory. The role combines account management, physician and hospital staff education, and on-site procedural support to healthcare providers.
Responsibilities
- Attain and exceed sales goals within designated territory and budget
- Grow existing accounts and establish new customers in the region
- Provide on-site technical support and training to surgeons and hospital staff
- Maintain current product knowledge and ensure customer access to latest information
- Attend customer meetings and industry tradeshows; report findings and recommendations
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree
- Minimum 3 years general sales experience; medical sales preferred
- Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
- Valid state-issued driver's license and ability to meet auto safety standards
- Ability to travel at least 60%, including overnight stays
- Understanding of needs-analysis sales approach and product buyer concepts
- Knowledge of contract administration and group purchasing principles
