Summary The Social Media Assistant will work in the Office of University Relations to engage varying audiences across multiple social media platforms. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Assist with social media marketing to increase visibility, membership and traffic of our website and social media platforms (i.e. Instagram and TikTok) Attend and promote events via different social media channels Meet once a week with the Content Manager to go over social media plans Create and share content about events and student life and campus news Monitor activity, check and reply to comments as needed on social media Actively create campaigns to follow through the use of hashtags Spend a minimum of one hour in the office each week for research and review Qualifications

MUST BE A STUDENT AT SAINT XAVIER UNIVERSITY
