Internal Medicine Physician - Teaching & Mentorship (M-F)

Physician - Internal Medicine (Full-time or Part-time; M-F days). This role is in the Division of General Internal Medicine and can accommodate a provider seeking a part-time or full-time M-F days position. Responsibilities Diagnose, treat, and manage chronic physical health, mental health, and substance use conditions. Promote preventative health care with screenings, immunizations, education, and appropriate health maintenance. Supervise approximately 3-6 residents in the clinic on a weekly basis. Regularly contribute to educational opportunities and didactics for medical students and residents. Serve on call via pager at night approximately 1-2 days per month. Minimum Qualifications Current license to practice medicine in the State of Minnesota (or eligibility for one). Board certified or board eligible in Internal Medicine, or family medicine. If board eligible, must become board certified within 4 years of completing training. Ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams, including advanced practice providers, physicians, nurses, medical assistants, pharmacists, social workers, behavioral health clinicians, and community health workers.
