Senior Project Delivery Consultant

Job Description Insight Global is looking for a Senior Project Delivery Consultant in the Rocky Hill, CT area to oversee the successful delivery of a portfolio of sustainable infrastructure, energy services, and commercial/institutional building systems projects throughout their full lifecycle. This individual will partner with sales teams during project pursuits to help define scope, assess project risks, coordinate with engineering and design teams, and establish execution strategies that support successful delivery. They will provide oversight across multiple concurrent projects, ensuring schedule, budget, quality, safety, and customer satisfaction objectives are achieved. The Senior Project Delivery Consultant will serve as a senior client-facing leader, building relationships with customers, leading project reviews, and addressing escalations as they arise. This role is responsible for the financial performance of the project portfolio, including forecasting, billing, cash flow management, margin performance, and risk mitigation. Additionally, the consultant will support and mentor project managers and delivery teams while driving consistency and execution excellence across the region. The ideal candidate is comfortable operating at both a strategic and operational level, balancing customer relationships, project delivery, and business objectives. This role will regularly interface with customers, engineering partners, and subcontractors while providing leadership throughout design-build and project execution activities. Regional travel is required to support customers, project teams, subcontractors, and active project sites. Experience managing engineering firms, design-build teams, and subcontractors throughout project execution. Experience delivering projects for municipalities, school districts, healthcare systems, higher education, or other institutional/public-sector clients. Ability to support projects from pursuit/preconstruction through final delivery Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field Project Executive, Program Director, or Director of Project Delivery experience Energy Performance Contracting (EPC) experience Experience with renewable energy projects including solar, battery energy storage, fuel cells, or utility interconnection. Experience managing energy retrofit, facility modernization, or decarbonization projects. Experience leading projects within an Energy Service Company (ESCO) environment.
