Ranked the #1 firm to work for in 2025 by Zweig Group and Verdantas employees, this isn't just a job—it's your next big step.What You'll Do:Provide technical planning and design support on various utility projects that may include storm and sanitary sewer collection systems, water distribution, and various other civil engineering projectsPrepare engineering calculations to support designPrepare design reports and construction plans using local and state standardsPrepare construction plans using AutoCAD 3D Civil 3DPrepare plans and specifications for public bidPrepare/assist with permit submittalsPrepare preliminary project cost estimates and evaluate quantitiesAssist with/review scope, budget, and schedule of new project tasksDocument design changes and communicationsConduct on-site inspections as neededPrepare project status and other reportsAssist Project ManagersAttend client, public, project and staff meetings including client progress, plan review, preconstruction, etc.What You'll Bring:Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited institution2-4 years of experience in civil-site and municipal engineeringFamiliarity with HydroCAD or other stormwater modeling software is a plusFamiliarity with AutoCAD, Civil 3D preferredEIT PreferredFamiliarity with ArcGIS software is a plusSalary Range:The compensation range starts at $70,000 and is based on the position, experience, and licensure.Benefits:Flexible Work EnvironmentPaid Parental LeaveMedicalDentalVisionLife and AD&D InsuranceShort-Term and Long-Term Disability401(k) with Company MatchPaid Time Off + HolidaysVerdantas strives to develop new ways to increase diversity awareness within our organization.
