We have positions available for individuals looking to: Work in a Dynamic Environment Demonstrate their Strong Customer Service Skills Officers who do interior and exterior patrols, access control, traffic control, emergency responseMinimum Requirements: Must be 21 years old Must have a clean Criminal Record Must possess valid Massachusetts Driver's License Must have a clean driving record Must have a valid Massachusetts License to Carry Firearms (LTC) Class "A" Must have completed a Boston Police Department approved 160 hour SPO training program.Preferred Skills: Knowledge of law enforcement practices and procedures and applicable laws, rules and regulations. Skill in applying laws, rules and regulations. Be able to work all shifts, including weekends, holidays, and overtime shifts as required – overtime is required Ability to communicate and give oral instructions, in English, fluently, in a precise, understandable manner The ability to read, write and comprehend the English language. The ability to use proper grammar, punctuation and spelling. Ability to give written instructions in a precise, understandable manner. Ability to work accurately with names, numbers, codes, and symbols. Ability to establish and maintain harmonious working relationships with others. Ability to deal tactfully with others.
