Healthcare Scheduler

To support a dynamic healthcare team, the full-time remote Healthcare Scheduler will manage inbound calls, schedule patient appointments, and provide essential information regarding medical procedures while ensuring an exceptional customer experience. Key responsibilities: Schedules and coordinates medical appointments, tests, and procedures by managing communications with patients, providers, and facilities Utilizes various electronic medical record and scheduling systems to effectively manage appointments and maintain patient safety Collects and documents patient demographics and insurance information to secure necessary authorizations and referrals Required qualifications: High school diploma/GED or equivalent working knowledge Minimum of 1 year of customer service experience in a healthcare setting, such as medical office or hospital scheduling Demonstrated ability to provide excellent customer service in a high-paced inbound contact center environment Proficiency in using technology tools and common office software Strong organizational and time management skills
