Position DetailsThe Vice President, Technology Operations is a senior technology executive with enterprise-wide accountability for the stability, resilience, and operational performance of the organization’s technology landscape. This role owns infrastructure operations, application operations, and service delivery, with direct leadership oversight of core application ownership and the ERP application organization. This executive ensures mission-critical systems—including ERP and core platforms—operate reliably, securely, and efficiently, while establishing the governance, stability, and foundation required to enable future modernization, rationalization, and transformation initiatives. Key ResponsibilitiesEnterprise Technology Operations LeadershipProvide executive leadership and accountability for enterprise technology operations, ensuring secure, reliable, and scalable services that support business objectives.Infrastructure & Platform OperationsLead infrastructure operations across on-premises, cloud, and hybrid environments, ensuring high availability, resilience, security, and operational efficiency.ERP & Enterprise Application OperationsOversee ERP and enterprise application operations to maintain stable, secure, and business-critical systems that support core organizational functions.IT Service Management & Service DeliveryOwn the IT service management strategy, ensuring consistent service delivery, operational excellence, and a high-quality end-user experience.Security, Risk & ComplianceEnsure technology operations comply with security, regulatory, and risk management requirements while supporting business continuity and resilience.Operational Governance & Business PartnershipEstablish governance, performance metrics, and business partnerships that align technology operations with organizational priorities and strategic goals.Financial, Vendor & Workforce LeadershipLead operational budgeting, vendor management, workforce development, and cost optimization while fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.Key CompetenciesBusiness AcumenDriving for ResultsActing StrategicallyTalent BuilderCollaborativeCommunicating EffectivelyPresenting and Public SpeakingInterpersonal Skills / CommunicationEducation & ExperienceBachelor's degree in information technology, Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience. 25+ years of progressive IT experience, including senior leadership roles in enterprise environments. Experience leading infrastructure and platform operations within complex, global organizations. Experience overseeing enterprise application landscapes, including ERP platforms (e.g., JDE, EBS) and core systems, in partnership with domain leaders. Experience operating in security-sensitive and business-critical environments with high expectations for reliability and continuity.
