Your Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient evaluations, recommend diagnostic procedures, and develop custom care plans to optimize patient outcomes
• Assess and manage acute, chronic, or episodic health issues in collaboration with physicians or independently, depending on your qualifications
• Educate patients and their families on preventive measures and management of health conditions

Education and Certification Requirements

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
• Graduated from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program

Essential Certifications

• Valid Nurse Practitioner license in the state of New York
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or equivalent in your specialty
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or willingness to obtain within 90 days)
