Job TitlePhysical TherapistResponsibilitiesPosition SummaryDelivery of treatment services to children ranging in ages from 0-21 yearsEvaluation servicesJob-related department responsibilitiesPosition Functions and ResponsibilitiesProvide treatment for 10 – 12 patients per daySupervise student interns as directed by ManagerConduct initial Physical Therapy evaluations and re-evaluationsDevelops and reviews patient care plans in conjunction with PhysiatristParticipates in clinical quality assurance initiativesProvides patient education through verbal explanation, visual demonstration, or written documentationComplete reporting activities as required by regulatory and departmental standards including but not limited to:Daily notation of therapyAll progress reports with updatesRehabilitation rounds/staff conferencesOther activities that may be assigned form time to time, i.e. splintingParticipate in all departmental in-services and staff development activitiesQualificationsEducation RequirementsBachelor's Degree and/or Master's/or Doctorate in Physical Therapy with NYS License as a registered Physical Therapist. Must maintain license in good standing.ExperienceExperience in clinical pediatric environmentSalary Range$85,000/Yr, To $95,000/Yr.
