Our client, a respected non-profit acute rehabilitation hospital and member of a major health system is hiring a Physical Therapist for outpatient services. Responsibilities Deliver individualized outpatient rehabilitation plans focusing on orthopedic and neurological conditions, including post-op orthopedic cases, stroke, TBI, and vestibular disorders. Conduct 45-minute one-on-one therapy sessions, ensuring optimal patient engagement and progress. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team comprising PTs, OTs, Speech Therapists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement comprehensive treatment strategies. Utilize the Epic EMR system accurately to document patient care and progress. Participate in ongoing professional development, mentorship programs, and clinical education initiatives. Maintain a patient-centered approach, ensuring safety, comfort, and high-quality care. Support clinic operations, including flexible scheduling to meet patient needs, and engage in quality improvement activities. Requirements Minimum of 1 year of outpatient physical therapy experience preferred. Demonstrable commitment to a patient-first, quality-driven care model. Proficiency with Epic EMR or similar electronic health records systems. Strong clinical reasoning, communication, and teamwork skills. Ability to adapt to a flexible schedule, including potential evening or weekend hours. Current NY State Physical Therapy license. Benefits Competitive salary range based on experience.
