We are looking for an experienced Banquet professional to bring their skills and knowledge to lead our service team. This role would be perfect for an experienced Banquet Server who is ready to take a leadership step to Banquet Captain. Banquet Servers are friendly, motivated, team oriented, and dependable. To provide excellent service our team: Shows enthusiasm and professionalism throughout the guest experience Provides friendly and attentive service Demonstrates thorough knowledge of the food and beverages served Partners with the entire team to deliver exceptional food & service Primary Job Responsibilities Ability to read, understand, and execute all details of a Banquet Event Order (BEO) Able to direct a team of servers to ensure excellent service Responsible for all event set-ups and tears downs Will be the primary on-site contact for all event guests Ability to execute a variety of events including: buffet service, plated meals, business meetings, and be the AV/IT point of contact Complete all opening, closing, and side work duties to ensure a clean, sanitized, and safe environment Prior bartending experience is highly preferred Welcome to the Senator Inn & Spa in Augusta, Maine.
