Assistant Controller

Addison Group has partnered with a publicly traded oilfield services company looking to add an Assistant Controller. This will be responsible for all aspects of the financial and administrative processes of assigned divisions. Accounting support for Director of Accounting for a variety of support accounting functions and activities related to accruals, fixed assets and intercompany transactions. Responsibilities Lead monthly financial reconciliation of all fixed assets for all entities. Calculate and record depreciation, acquisitions, and disposals of fixed assets. Maintain fixed asset sub-ledgers and ensure alignment with general ledger. Perform monthly sub-ledger reconciliations. Prepare and post monthly accruals for payroll, AR, AP, and internal revenue across multiple entities. Prepare and reconcile all ASC 842 entries Assist with preparation of financial statements and variance analysis. Manage and reconcile intercompany transactions across multiple entities. Assist with monthly sales and use tax reporting, filings and audits. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting 7+ years' of professional accounting experience CPA preferred Public Accounting experience preferred Experience with ASC 842, Intercompany transactions and Sales & Use Tax Preferred #J-18808-Ljbffr Addison Group
