Job Overview Title: Senior Regulatory Analyst Salary: $85,009.60 – $100,006.40 Annually Location: Hybrid (office one day per week, remote otherwise) Key Responsibilities Track and lead work on Colorado Public Utilities Commission (PUC) proceedings, including testimony and witness appearances. Develop regulatory strategy and draft filings such as notices of intervention, comments, and briefs. Research current and future Colorado policies that align with CEO’s statutory mission. Participate in weekly Regulatory group meetings and brief leadership on emerging proceedings. Collaborate with multi‑disciplinary teams on policy development for electric, gas, transportation, and building sectors. Engage stakeholders, build coalitions, and conduct research to support PUC proceedings. Operate independently while contributing to a collaborative decision‑making process. Minimum Qualifications 3–5 years of technical research and analysis experience in public utilities regulation or transportation electrification. Knowledge of the utility sector and utility regulation. Experience writing testimony, appearing as a witness, and developing rates or quantitative analysis of energy regulatory issues. Strong time management, organizational, written, oral, and presentation communication skills. High initiative and ability to work independently and in a team environment. Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Office and Google Suite. Preferred Qualifications Experience with Colorado’s electric sector. Knowledge of utility ratemaking principles, general rate cases (GRCs), revenue requirements, and capital investment evaluations.
