Inspector

job summary:
Join Our Client in Fairfield, CA, as an Inspector across 250+ global sites to help shape the future of aviation! We need quality pros with a high school diploma, 3-5 years of inspection experience, and strong GD&T and CMM skills to ensure ultimate precision.

• Perform meticulous dimensional and visual receiving inspections on incoming parts, assemblies, and materials for Our Client to verify strict compliance with engineering drawings, GD&T, and purchase order specifications.

• Utilize precision tools including calipers, micrometers, height gauges, optical measurement equipment, and CMM Manager software to test product quality and program CMM inspections.

• Meticulously record inspection results, verify supplier certification packages, and initiate quality notifications for nonconforming materials to maintain complete traceability for Our Client.

• Partner with Quality Engineering, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain teams to resolve inspection discrepancies, manage material dispositions, and support internal and external quality audits for Our Client.

• Support AQL sampling plans, maintain inspection equipment and work areas, and drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce receiving inspection backlogs for Our Client.
