Personal Banker

Position Overview As a Personal Banker within PNC’s Retail Banking organization, you will serve customers at the North Salisbury Branch in Salisbury, MD. You will work in an in‑office setting with a collaborative, supportive culture and focus on delivering a differentiated customer experience. Responsibilities Acquire and deepen the branch customer base through proactive sales and service activities. Manage the customer experience by identifying opportunities to improve their financial wellbeing. Collaborate with ecosystem partners to grow customers’ share of wallet. Position PNC solutions to drive new revenue and customer loyalty. Drive proactive sales conversations through a defined sales process, including outbound calling, service‑to‑sales, teller interactions, appointment setting and lobby engagement. Deliver a full PNC conversation with every client interaction to identify appropriate solutions. Leverage ecosystem partnerships and community Centers of Influence to acquire, expand and retain relationships. Create customer loyalty and grow customer share of wallet through a differentiated experience. Perform lobby engagement activities to connect with customers and position PNC products to meet their needs. Educate customers on options for managing financial transactions by leveraging technology, tools and resources. Apply product and procedural knowledge to identify, mitigate and solve customer problems, driving loyalty. Manage risk through adherence to all policies and procedures and demonstrate sound judgment within established limits. Show heightened scrutiny to identify and avoid loss. Participate in daily branch operations, ensuring efficiency and accuracy. Qualifications Associates degree or equivalent; 3+ years of relevant experience or product knowledge. Knowledge and experience in banking products, digital awareness, and retail lending. Strong customer‑service orientation and ability to build client loyalty. Proactive sales skills, prospecting, and opportunity identification. Ability to manage multiple priorities, work effectively in a matrixed environment, and solve problems. Effective communication skills and proficiency in leveraging technology. Understanding of customer needs and experience in engaging and expanding relationships. Background check clearance per Consumer Financial Protection Bureau regulations. Pay Base Salary: $41,250.00 – $68,750.00. Salary may vary by location, experience and education. This role is incentive‑eligible with performance‑based payment.
