About the Position

Job Title: RN ICU Profession: RN Specialty: RN ICU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Unknown Hours per Shift: 36 Experience: 3 years of ICU experience, 1 year of travel experience License: Active RN license Certifications: BLS Must-Have: 2+ years of ICU experience, 1+ years of travel experience Description: Our usual patient populations are adult complex surgical patients including burns along with acutely ill medical patients. While our ICU has a storied history of caring for critically ill burn patients, currently, thermal burns constitute a minority of our patients. This ICU operates on a closed model. All patients on the unit are cared for by the same team. Our advanced practice providers are the primary ICU care providers, supported by admitting surgical teams and consultants. The multispecialty care team model is based on responding clinicians supervised by 24/7 in-house attending staff physicians and supported by critical care fellows.
